The mission of DecentraleStudent is to prepare high school students for their next step in life: university. When applying for a study, students face information deficits and choice stress. That is why DecentraleStudent offers coaching for every step of the road to university. From one-on-one consults for choosing the right bachelor study, online coaching in writing motivation letters and building a professional CV, to group and individual courses for admission tests and interviews. In offering these services to apply for, and get into university, DecentraleStudent’s core values are to offer students a reliable service ánd personal tutor experience.
With a team of 25 - 35 tutors and coaches, DecentraleStudent helps hundreds of high school students every year. Given the number of different services DecentraleStudent provides, there was a need for a scheduling tool that is able to combine all of these services and calendars of teachers into one platform. Thanks to the Meeting Templates at Meettrics, DecentraleStudent was able to set up a Public Booking Portal with a booking page for each type of service, based on the calendars of one or more teachers. High school students can now easily navigate to DecentraleStudent’s Public Booking Portal to set up a meeting for their selected service.
Tutors at DecentraleStudent help tens of students at the same time. Before Meettrics, it used to be a challenge for these coaches to combine the meetings of different students. This led to the risk of creating double bookings on one hand, while the risk of having a half-full calendar on the other hand. Thanks to the Meeting Templates at Meettrics, there is no more need for the teachers to worry about this. With pre-selected working hours and combining multiple calendars into one Meeting Template, students will never have the possibility to book a meeting that conflicts with other appointments from the teacher’s calendar.
Thanks to the Private Booking Portals of Meettrics, DecentraleStudent is able to schedule meetings with external partners faster. In the past, when an external partner wanted to book DecentraleStudent for e.g. an informative workshop at a High School, setting up this meeting would require a lot of e-mails back and forward. Thanks to Meettrics, DecentraleStudent can now invite an external partner to the Private Booking Portal “Informative workshop at High Schools”. This enables the external partner to directly set up a booking based on DecentraleStudent’s availability, making dozens of emails a thing of the past!
DecentraleStudent’s core values are to offer students a reliable service ánd personal tutor experience. With Meettrics, this experience already starts at the Public Booking Portal. Thanks to the functionalities like Round Robin and Availability, DecentraleStudent can always guarantee their students they can immediately set up a meeting with one of the available teachers. At the same time, the photo slider at the Public Booking Portal enables DecentraleStudent to show the students who their tutor will be and what their consult will look like. These functionalities allow DecentraleStudent to maximize the reliable and personal service they want to offer.
